Stories to transport readers to places never imagined.

Mysteries, spies, little green men. Each takes us to a place we’ve never imagined, yet always wanted to visit. The power of literature can move us like no other media.

While under construction, I released my author site for cruise control. As it progresses, I hope to have a way to leave comments and questions. Should you purchase a book, enjoy and write a review. Thanks for visiting.

Mystery

A Family Feud Texas Style

Valuable land, oil, and murder make strange bedfellows.

Denny McConnell, Private Investigator, is hired to research the deeds, land swaps, and old lawsuits regarding Texas ranchland and oil, the rights to which are now disputed by Wendy Axtell Shearer. Obstacles develop, in part, because of Wendy’s charming but flawed character.

Denny puts to good use his engineering skills, and becomes entangled in the bitter family feud that includes murder, mayhem, and lies. Now, he has to stay alive long enough to untangle this deadly mess.

A Savvy Way to Kill

Denny is hired by Amber Fagerstrom’s law firm to help prove her innocent of the murder of Bad Boy Philip McDuggle. When another murder takes place in Ft. Worth, allegedly by the wife of the man for whom Denny provided expert testimony, Denny suspects the two cases are connected. Each of the two victims was involved in a coal venture, and Amber happens to have consulted for Philip McDuggle’s company.

The Texas Medicine Murders.

When the young woman who, with four others, stole the promising cancer medicine is knifed in the gut, Denny is hired by her mother to find the killer. Soon after, Denny is kidnapped and mistaken for a man who stole a plutonium purification process, and he becomes enmeshed in an increasingly deadly affair. A week later, the young woman’s best friend is shot along a freeway.

Intrigue builds and bodies continue to drop in a seemingly endless string of crimes. An assassin working for the woman who co-instigated the medicine theft comes for Denny, and more bizarre twists follow.
